  7. Enter the password for the selected Wi-Fi network.
  8. Next, provide a name (SSID) for your new Extended Wi-Fi network in the designated field.
  9. Click the Connect button.
  10. Wait a few seconds while the extender finalizes the creation of the new extended Wi-Fi network.
  11. The device will reboot, and your new Wi-Fi network will be successfully created.

Setting Up Ap.Setup via WPS:

Alternatively, you can set up your Wavlink Extender using the WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) method. To use this method, your router should also support the WPS feature. Here’s how to set up your Wavlink Extender via WPS mode:

  1. Place both the extender and the router in the same room.
  2. Locate the WPS button on the Wavlink Range Extender (Repeater) and press and hold it for 2-3 seconds until you see the light blinking.
  3. Now, press the WPS button on your router.
  4. The WPS lights on both the extender and the router will blink for 10-15 seconds, indicating that a connection is being established.
  5. After a successful connection is established between both devices, the WPS light on the router will stop blinking, while the WPS light on the repeater will remain stable.

By following these steps, you can easily configure your Wavlink Wi-Fi Range Extender using Ap.Setup or the WPS method for an extended and enhanced Wi-Fi network.
