  2. Enter the following credentials: Username – “admin” and Password – “admin.” Click “Sign In.”

Changing the ASUS WiFi SSID

If you wish to modify the SSID (name) of your ASUS WiFi Network, you can achieve this through the ASUS Router Settings Page:

  1. First, log in to the ASUS Router Settings page as described above.
  2. Inside the ASUS Router Settings page, navigate to the “Wireless” section found in the left column under the “Advanced Settings” category.
  3. Here, locate the “Network Name (SSID)” field, which displays the current SSID of your ASUS WiFi network. Enter your desired new ASUS WiFi SSID in this field.
  4. Scroll down and click “Apply” to save the settings.
  5. The router will proceed to reboot, and once it restarts, the SSID of your ASUS WiFi network will reflect the changes you made.

Changing the ASUS WiFi Password

Modifying your ASUS WiFi Password is also straightforward and can be done through the ASUS Router Settings Page:

  1. Log in to the ASUS Router Settings Page using the aforementioned login method.
  2. After successfully logging in, access the “Wireless” section in the left column under the “Advanced Settings” category.
  3. Ensure that the “Authentication Method” is set to “WPA2-Personal.”
  4. Next to the “WPA Pre-Shared Key,” input your new WiFi password. This should be an 8-63 character combination of letters, numbers, and special characters.
  5. Once the new WiFi password is entered, click on “Apply” to save your changes.
  6. Subsequently, the router will reboot, and your ASUS WiFi password will be updated. You can then connect to the WiFi network using the new password.
