Step 1: Launch Your Browser:
- Open your web browser.
Step 2: Enter M.home or 192.168.1.1:
- In the address bar, type “http://m.home” or “192.168.1.1.”
Step 3: Logging In:
- Enter the Username as “admin” and the Password as “admin.”
- Click “Login.”
- You are now successfully logged into the device settings.
Note: For Telstra Pre-Paid 4GX Hotspot, the Device Password is “password.”
Changing WiFi Password and Network Name:
Now that you’ve accessed your device settings, here’s how to modify your WiFi password and Network Name for different Telstra devices:
For Telstra Pre-Paid 4G USB Modem:
- Log in to your Wi-Fi home page.
- From the top menu, choose “Settings.”
- Then, select “WLAN” > “WLAN Basic Settings.”
- In the “SSID” field, enter your new Wi-Fi Network Name.
- For your updated Wi-Fi Password, insert it into the “WPA pre-shared key” field.

- In the “Wi-Fi Name (SSID)” field, enter your revised Wi-Fi Network Name.
- Input your new Wi-Fi Password in the “Wi-Fi Password” field.

- Log in to the Wi-Fi home page.
- In the top menu, click “SETTINGS.”
- Then, select “Setup” > “Wireless.”
- Input your new Wi-Fi Network Name into the “WiFi Name (SSID)” field.
- For your updated Wi-Fi Password, place it in the “WiFi Password” field.
