Melogin.cn serves as the web User Interface for Mercury Wireless Extenders, allowing you to set up and customize default WiFi settings. You can access this interface through the domain name “melogin.cn” or by entering “192.168.1.253” in your browser’s address bar. Below is a step-by-step guide to assist you:

Step 1: Logging In via Melogin.cn or 192.168.1.253:

1. Plug the Mercury Wireless Extender into a power outlet and connect to the Wi-Fi Network (MERCURY_RE_XXXX).
2. Open your web browser.
3. In the address bar, type either “melogin.cn” or “192.168.1.253.”

Step 2: Setting Up Your Mercury Wireless Extender:

1. In the interface, enter “12345678” as the login password in both the lower and upper fields.
2. Click “Log In.”

Step 3: Selecting the WiFi Network to Expand:

1. Select the WiFi network you want to extend.
2. Enter the password of the selected WiFi network.
3. Type the Extender Wireless Network Name.
4. Click “Next Step.”

Step 4: Successful Extension:

Once these steps are complete, your Mercusys Wireless Extender setup is finished, and you can now connect to the extended WiFi network.

Note: Extender Light Indicators:

• A flashing red light indicates that the extender is expanding.
