How to Log in to NETGEAR Orbi?

Follow these steps to access the Admin Console of the NETGEAR Orbi Router and manage your settings:

  1. Connect your PC to the Orbi Router, which you can do in three ways:
    • Wired Connection: Use an Ethernet cable to link your PC to the Orbi Router.
    • Wireless Connection: Connect to the Orbi Router’s Wi-Fi network.
    • WPS Method: Utilize WPS to connect to the Orbi Router network.
  2. Once your PC is connected, open a web browser of your choice.
  3. In a new tab, type either www.orbilogin.com or www.orbilogin.net in the address bar and press “Enter.” You can also use the default gateway IP address, which is http://192.168.1.1/.
  4. You will be taken to the login page of the NETGEAR Orbi Router. Here, you need to log in using your Orbi admin credentials. Input the Orbi Username and Password.
  5. Click “Sign In” to access your NETGEAR Orbi Router Admin Console.

Alternatively, you can log in using the Netgear Orbi app on your smartphone. Here’s how:

  1. Download and install the Orbi app on your mobile device from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
  2. After installing the app, open it while connected to the Orbi Wi-Fi network.
  3. When the app starts, you’ll see the Orbi login page, prompting you to enter the Orbi login username and password.
  4. Enter the Orbi login credentials and tap “Sign In.”
  5. If the login credentials are accurate, you will access your Orbi router admin console.

How to Change the Orbi Wi-Fi Network SSID and Password?

You can easily change both the Wi-Fi SSID and password from the Orbi Admin Console. Here’s how:

Changing the Wi-Fi SSID:

  1. Log in to the Orbi Router Admin Console using the steps provided above.
  2. Once logged in, go to “Basic” and select “Wireless.”
  3. Look for the “Name (SSID)” field under the Wireless Network section. Enter the new Wi-Fi SSID.
  4. Click “Apply” to save the changes. The Wi-Fi SSID will be updated, and all previously connected devices will need to reconnect.

Changing the Wi-Fi Password:

  1. Log in to the Orbi Router Admin Console as mentioned earlier.
  2. Once logged in, go to “Basic” and choose “Wireless.”
  3. Find the “Password (Network Key)” field under the Security Options section. Enter the new Wi-Fi password, which should consist of 8-63 characters.
  4. Click “Apply” to save the changes. You can now connect to your Wi-Fi network using the new password.
