The o2.spot User Interface empowers you to modify your WiFi password, Network Name (SSID), and default o2 HomeSpot settings. Access this interface conveniently at http://o2.spot or 192.168.1.1.

Logging In to o2 HomeSpot

To initiate access to your o2 HomeSpot, adhere to these steps:

  1. Launch a web browser.
  2. In the address bar, enter http://o2.spot or 192.168.1.1.
  3. Input the provided Password.
  4. Click “Login.”

With these steps completed, you’ll gain entry to the o2 HomeSpot user interface. Be mindful that your Password can be located on a label affixed to the back of your o2 HomeSpot device.

If this is your initial login, your device will prompt you to input the SIM card PIN to unlock. You can find the SIM card PIN on the SIM card tray.

Changing o2 HomeSpot WiFi Password and Network Name

To alter your o2 HomeSpot’s WiFi Password and Network Name, follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Log in to the User Interface.
  2. Navigate to Netzwerk > WLAN.

For Unified SSID on 2.4 and 5 GHz:

  1. Enter your desired Wi-Fi Network Name in the “WLAN Name (SSID)” field.
  2. Define your new Wi-Fi Password in the “WLAN Passwort” field.
  3. Click “Speichern.”

For Separate SSIDs on 2.4 and 5 GHz (Enabling Band Steering):

  1. Set the desired Wi-Fi Network Name in the “WLAN Name (SSID)” field for both bands.
  2. Specify the Wi-Fi Password in the “WLAN Passwort” field for both bands.
  3. To apply Unified SSID, ensure the “Band Steering” option is enabled.
